We're looking for web designers who can create a fun, crazy, out-of-the box look, layout, and features of Mango People's website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once the website is created, the designer should be able to help with maintenance and additions to the website. The candidate must work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.
Duties
The web designer's job duties will include, but aren't limited to, the following:
- Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
- Full knowledge of Wordpress and/or Shopify along with their plugins
- Writing and editing content
- Designing webpage layout
- Determining technical requirements
- Updating websites
- Creating back up files
- Solving code problems
Requirements:
-Must live in NOIDA and be available 5 days/week to work at Mango People Studio
-EXTREMELY detail-oriented, self-starter and creative thinker (We need someone who is self-sufficient and decisive.)
-Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones,
-A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
-Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
-A familiarity with, understanding of and ability to speak in Mango People's voice
-Must have your transportation and laptop
-Must have have the ability to access your computer/the internet throughout the day (Monday – Friday)
Your portfolio may also include the following areas of expertise, which could be a HUGE plus:
- Fundamentals of design imaging
- Graphic designing
- Animation
- Multimedia design
- Content management
- Editing for video and audio
- Multimedia programming and technology
Web Developer Skills and Qualifications:
JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services Multimedia Content Development, API's.
